Pella Historical Society has made changes to the annual Sinterklaas Day festivities. Next Saturday, December 5th, a parade will no longer be held due to the latest public health proclamation issued by Governor Kim Reynolds.

However, community members can come to the base of the Vermeer Windmill from 10 to 11 a.m. to get a treat bag with Sinterklaas goodies, handed out by new Tulip Queen Alyssa Geetings and the rest of the Royal Court. Geetings is excited to be an ambassador for the Pella community ahead of and during next year’s Tulip Time celebration in May.

Masks and social distancing will be required to participate. Additional videos will be posted on Pella Historical Society’s social media channels as it relates to the annual Sinterklaas celebration.
