A pair of past state qualifiers and several returners look to take the Pella wrestling program to the next level this winter.

Head Coach Jay Pike says 2019 state qualifier Ryan Hancock, 2020 heavyweight Kody Huisman–who earned a trip to Wells Fargo Arena in his first ever season on the mat, as well as senior Ryan Van Donselaar, who came close to a state trip and has multiple years of experience, will look to make strides not only for themselves, but to help lift teammates to new heights.

The Pella wrestling team opens the season Tuesday in a quad meet at David County High School.
