The Pella wrestling team is off to a solid start to the new season after winning two of three duals at the Davis County quad meet Tuesday.

Pella defeated Pekin 60-21, lost to Ottumwa 45-33, and bounced back against the host Mustangs 58-24.

Ryan Van Donselaar had a three win night for the Dutch, with three pinfall victories in all under one minute. Teammates Ryan Hancock, Quinn Rhamy, Ethan Milligan, Nathan Born, and Daniel Loftis scored two victories on the evening.

The Pella Dutch wrestlers have a quick turnaround to their next meet Thursday when they head to Nevada for triangular with the Cubs and Knoxville Panthers.
