The Pella wrestling team found a pair of victories and swept the Nevada triangular Thursday night, defeating Knoxville 52-24 and the host Cubs 50-21. Pella had two victories each from Logan Schroeder, Peyton Ritzert, Jackson Van Kley, Nathan Born, Ryan Van Donselaar, Damion Clark, and Ethan Milligan. Pella has four dual victories in the early portion of the season and heads to the Williamsburg invitational this Saturday.

The Knoxville Wrestling squad hit the mat for the first time on Thursday and fell in both matches at a triangular in Nevada. The Panthers lost to Pella 52-24 and to the host Cubs 45-36. Against Pella, Luke Spaur, Wayne Johnston, Gage Rowley, and Tre DeRaad posted individual wins. Against Nevada, it was Marco Alejo, Spaur, Sean Collins, Kale Kincaid, Wayne Johnston, and Trenton Kingery got wins. Knoxville is 0-2 in dual meets and will travel to Nodaway Valley this Saturday.
