The Norwalk wrestling team took part in the Keith Young Invitational in Cedar Falls Saturday, and wrestled to a second place team finish in a talented field. The Warriors scored 176.5 team points, behind champion Don Bosco’s 234 points.
Heavyweight Maddux Borcherding-Johnson was champion in his weight class for Norwalk, picking up a decision victory in the first place match. 160-pounder Cade Schmidt was the champion with a decision victory in his first place match. Three wrestlers finished second, and the lowest finish for Norwalk was sixth. Find complete results here.
