The Knoxville City Council will hold a work session and meet in regular session today. Assistant City Manager Heather Ussery tells KNIA/KRLS News that the purpose of the work session is to review projects and priorities for the upcoming budget, and to give the council an opportunity to discuss these matters before taking action. The work session begins at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom.
During the regular session, the council will consider the approval of City Manager Aaron Adams’ resignation. They’ll also discuss a joint letter regarding the city’s rental inspection program as well as fees and charges for Parks and Recreation services.
The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. and will air live on 95.3 KNIA.
