The City of Indianola is in a good financial position heading into the new year, after completing the beginning stages of several of their major projects. City of Indianola Chief Financial Officer Andy Lent tells KNIA News much of the groundwork is completed for major projects such as the paving of E Iowa Ave and the Downtown Streetscape, and construction is expected to begin this spring for both. Lent also said bids came in around $300,000 lower than expected for the E Iowa Ave paving project and the city will review bids on the streetscape as they come in.
