The Pella Community Food Shelf is in need of donations as the holidays approach. Executive Director Melissa Zula says the community has shown great support to the operation during COVID-19, but due to increasing demand, they are seeking additional help to get needed resources to individuals and families.
Zula says the Pella Community Food Shelf is again partnering with 92.1 KRLS Radio and the Pella Hy-Vee for the annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive. On December 21st from 3 to 6 p.m., both the Knoxville and Pella Hy-Vee stores will host a special tip night, with KNIA/KRLS Staff bagging groceries in exchange for donations to area food shelves.
