Fresh off of a pair of close league bouts with Indianola Friday, the Pella basketball teams head to Washington for a non-conference doubleheader.
The 1-2 Lady Dutch are trying to regain traction against the 0-3 Demons after a tough week with a pair of losses to North Polk and the Indians.
Pella’s fifth ranked boys in 3A are trying to continue their early season momentum and avoid a long road letdown against an experienced Washington team with their three top scorers returning from a 14-7 team last winter, including Sophomore Ethan Patterson, Senior Trashaun Willis, and Junior Kasen Bailey combined for 32.4 points per game last year.
The Demons have an impressive 90-38 win on their ledger, but have been off since November 30th due to postponements in the Southeast Conference.
