There have been 45 new cases of COVID-19 reported this week to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database this week. Marion County Public Health considered 2,079 to have recovered in their most recent weekly update issued Monday. There have been 25 fatalities attributed to COVID-19 in the county. Nine residents remain hospitalized with the virus.

A majority of residents at Accura Health Care in Knoxville are considered to be recovered during the Long Term Care Outbreak at the facility, with 37 of 42 residents with a positive case listed as recoveries, and no new positive tests reported in the past two weeks. There are 43 total cases at The Cottages in Pella–three new in the past fourteen days, and 18 considered recovered.
