Knoxville’s Mike Hudson will play at the next level in baseball when his high school career comes to an end. Hudson recently committed to Southwestern Community College in Creston to play for the Spartans. Hudson is coming off a summer where he pitched 30 1/3 innings for the Panthers in a shortened season striking out 28 batters and walking just ten with a 2.77 ERA. Hudson tells KRLS Sports he is already looking forward to this summer and finishing his career off in style.
Hudson:
“I’m just ready and have a chance to win some conference games. We have some young guys coming back and lost a couple good seniors.”
Hudson is just starting his senior basketball season for the Panthers where he helped Knoxville defeat Clarke on Tuesday night. You can hear an interview with Hudson along with teammate Kieren Nichols that aired during the Radio Sports Page Wednesday night on kniakrls.com.
