The Pleasantville boys will look to get back into the win column as they matchup with West Central Conference foe Woodward-Granger tonight.
The Trojans are coming off a 30-point performance against Panorama Monday night. They will look to score more and shoot better as they shot just 27% from the field and didn’t make a single three-pointer last game. Coach Tom Wilkins tells KNIA Sports that even though he doesn’t know a lot about Woodward-Granger, he just knows they have to play better, regardless of the opponent they play.
Pleasantville will be looking for their first win against Woodward-Granger in the Quik Stats-Varsity Bound era. They lost both matchups against the Hawks last winter. Their first matchup in 2019-20 was a 62-59 overtime defeat for Pleasantville on January 7, 2020. Their second matchup was in the 2A Substate Quarterfinal on February 20, and the Trojans were routed 58-33.
The game is scheduled to tip-off tonight at Woodward-Granger High School at 7:30 P.M.
