Helping Hands Knoxville is in need of donations in preparation for its Christmas basket distribution. Chuck Galaezzi says that he had to cancel a delivery of items, and needs to fulfill the organization’s distribution needs this Saturday. They are in search of canned goods, such as corn, beans, and soup, hams, potatoes, peanut butter, jelly, or monetary donations.

“At 2:00 on the 19th, we’ll be giving away this stuff. People can come in, pick some things out until they’re gone. This is going to be special for grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles that maybe don’t have the finances to give someone a gift. Come in on December 19th at 2:00 p.m.”

Galaezzi also says no donation is too big or small, and that they need everything by Wednesday, December 16th in order to prepare the items for distribution.
