Executive Leader of Many Hands for Haiti Tim Brand says while many in the United States have support systems in place, there is none of that in Haiti, and beyond their daily operations, the organization serves as a lifeline when times are tough on the island nation.
Brand says they are currently going through their Give Joy campaign, where anyone can support specific projects ongoing in Haiti, including equipping students and classrooms, paying teachers, supporting a women’s education class, or growing communities through a sports camp.
