The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads are back on the court tonight at Moravia. The Saber girls fell to Albia on Saturday 47-31 after falling behind in the first quarter by 12 points. Players Rylee Dunkin, Cheyenne Bruns, and Chloe Swank tell KRLS winning the conference and having their best season in several years is something they have been playing for.
Rylee Dunkin:
One of our big goals is to win the conference, we haven’t won the conference in a long time and that would feel really good to accomplish that.”
Cheyenne Bruns:
“It’s a big goal for everybody and if we do that it’ll show everybody how good we can play and play aggressively.”
Chloe Swank:
“I want this to be the best season I’ve ever had and trying to make the best of it as I can.”
The boys will try to come back from a tough loss to Mormon Trail on Friday that out the Sabers in major foul trouble. Tip off is scheduled for six at Moravia.
