The Knoxville Wrestling Squad has paused activities and meets due to COVID-19. The Panthers did not participate in last week’s South Central Conference meet and canceled their home invitational due to positive tests on the team and contact tracing. Coach Doug Hatch tells KNIA/KRLS they will take this time to get healthy and hope to return to action this weekend.

Hatch:
“I never know if we’ll have a meet or practice from one day to the next. This little precaution we’re taking hopefully will get the kids healthy and prevent any spread that’s going on.”

Knoxville is scheduled to return to action this Saturday at Roland-Story. Hatch hopes to have a least a partial team this weekend.
