As Melcher-Dallas awaits to restart sports practices, the girls’ basketball team will return looking to get their first winning streak of the season.

The Saints are currently sitting at 1-2 on the season, coming off a resounding win over Ankeny Christian on December 4th. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports that it will be difficult picking up where they left off after taking a long break away from the court.

Goff also states that she will try to get the team in to practice on Saturday. Their first game back for Melcher-Dallas from the hiatus will be January 5 at home against Seymour. KNIA Sports will continue to monitor updates.
