The winless PCM Mustangs hit another roadblock Tuesday in the form of Oskaloosa as the girls fell to the Indians on the road 49-34.

It was a fairly close game throughout as it was just a two score game entering the fourth quarter. However, some miscues by the ladies caused Oskaloosa to build upon their lead. The end result was a double digit loss for the Maroon and Gold, who are now 0-8 on the season.

Sophomore Paige Steenhoek led the team in scoring with nine points while Junior Emily Foster added another eight off the bench.

Head Coach Jeff Lindsay details what happened in that fourth quarter, but does see that his girls are improving each and every day.

“At the end of three, we were only down six and had a rough fourth quarter. I would say another thing that didn’t help us was we turned the ball over a little too much tonight. We showed improvement in areas tonight and we’re just going to continue to work and build on those positive things going forward.”

The Mustangs will be back in action Friday at home against West Marshall for a double header.
