The Pella School Board received an update about district-wide virtual learning at their meeting this week.
Superintendent Greg Ebeling says they have been serving approximately 100 students through the model on a full-time basis, not including those who joined for a few weeks due to a positive COVID-19 test or quarantine.
He expects that number to drop slightly when classes re-start for the spring semester in January, and is hopeful to return to closer to normal students in the building by the new academic year in August.
