After a bit of rest, the PCM Mustangs were back in action for a wrestling triangular, defeating Colfax-Mingo 52-30 and Roland-Story 45-24.
The Mustangs only lost four matches total. All other points by the opponents were by forfeit.
The basketball teams will face West Marshall for a double header tonight at home. Many members of the boys team played against and defeated West Marshall in the football playoffs, so there could be a chip on the visitor’s shoulders.
Boys coach Fred Lorensen describes what he knows of tonight’s opponents.
“West Marshall’s coming in. Don’t know much about them yet. We’ll try to get some video on them if we can and see what they’re doing. It’s been a really good program. Back about seven or eight years ago we had a rivalry with them for several years, playing in district finals and substate games. They’ve had a really good program all the way through and we’ll have to be ready. They’ll be very good.”
Tipoff is at 6:00 for the girls game and can be heard on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com.
