After tonight’s scheduled games at Knoxville were cancelled, the 2020 calendar year of sports has ended at Pella High School.
The Pella boys basketball team is dotted across the state of Iowa top ten polls in Class 3A after a 6-0 start, which includes a highlight victory over the defending 4A state champions from Ankeny.
It’s been an up-and-down start to the first third of the girls basketball season for the Lady Dutch, who stand at 4-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
The Pella wrestling team has eight dual victories and a 3rd place finish at the Bill Van Horn invitational, and are on pace to have one of their best seasons in recent memory.
Both bowling teams have had plenty of competition before winter break, with meets at Centerville and three at home. The girls are 1-4, while the boys stand at 3-2.
