Travel may be difficult today with significant weather changes on the way. A strong cold front will be pushing through the state, and strong winds should be pushing through south central Iowa by midday. Light precipitation may come with the wind, which may cause slick roads. According to the National Weather Service, light snow is also expected in the northwest corner of the state.
