All City of Pella offices will be closed this Thursday and Friday for Christmas.

City of Pella trash collection has been adjusted due to the Christmas and New Years’ Holidays. Those with regular pickup on Thursday will have it collected on Wednesday instead, and those with Christmas Day collection on Friday will instead have pick up on Christmas Eve. The same adjustments will be in place for the New Year’s Holiday next week.

Christmas Tree collection in Pella will be curbside on December 28th through the 30th and additionally on January 6th, 13th, and 20th. Trees must be unwrapped and free from plastic bags, wire, nails, and stands in order to be picked up. Wreaths and roping with wire will be collected as normal household waste if placed within a closed tote.
