The Melcher-Dallas girls basketball team returns to practice looking to improve their play from their first three games of the young season.

The Saints currently sit at 1-2 on the season, with their only win coming against Ankeny Christian, which was the last game they played before they shut down due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the high school. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports that she expects there to be some rust in the return, but remains confident that the season can turn around.

Melcher-Dallas returns to action on January 4th when they travel to Murray high school for a Bluegrass Conference matchup against the Mustangs. The game will tip off at 6:00 PM.
