Pleasantville’s basketball teams, who are both off for holiday break, will look to emphasize improving their shooting when they return.
The girls’ team currently stands at 3-5 on the season, failing to reach the 50 point mark this winter. Their season-high in points was back on December 1st when they put up 47 at Melcher-Dallas. Coach Jeff Cook tells KNIA Sports that his team needs more offensive production in order to be successful in 2021.
As for the boys, they stand at 3-2 on the young season, but they have failed to cross the 60-point threshold so far. Their season-high was on December 17 when they scored 59 against West Central Valley. Coach Tom Wilkins tells KNIA Sports that he needs everybody to be on the same page offensively in order to be more consistent.
The Trojans will return to action for a West Central Conference Doubleheader on January 5th at Woodward Granger. The games will be broadcast on kniakrls.com on the KRLS3 stream.
