Upon return to class in January, Pella Christian High School students will be back in a program aiming to expand their experience beyond a traditional classroom.

Counselor Brad Engbers says Winterim returns, but will look different this year, as many of the experiences they previously included, such as trips overseas and internships, weren’t as possible this year due to COVID-19.

Engbers says it was still important to have options for students as part of the program, with expanded offerings in unique classes and new work-based learning opportunities emerging.
