It has been a rough start to the season for Melcher-Dallas as they were shut down for the final two weeks of the 2020 school year due to a COVID-19 outbreak. Both of Melcher-Dallas’ basketball teams sit towards the bottom of the Bluegrass Conference as the teams get ready for 2021.

 

The girls currently have a record of 1-2, with their only win coming against Ankeny Christian on December 4th. Their only conference game was their win against the Eagles, as they sit 1-0 in Bluegrass Conference play. Even though it is only one game, they are one of three undefeated teams in the Bluegrass Conference, along with Murray and Lamoni.

 

The boys are currently winless on the young season, losing to Pleasantville and Ankeny Christian in their only two games this season. They are currently 0-1 in conference play and 0-2 overall. They are one of three winless teams in Bluegrass Conference, along with Orient-Macksburg and Moulton-Udell.

 

The Saints will return to action January 4th with a conference doubleheader at Murray High School. The girls begin the 2021 campaign tipping off at 6:00 PM.
