The PCM basketball teams have fought valiantly during the first half of the season, and here is where they stand in a rather close Heart of Iowa Conference as the players head into their holiday break.
The girls are sitting in last place with a conference record of 0-4 (1-10 overall). Saydel is also winless, however they haven’t played any conference opponents as they opted for online learning as the season started. West Marshall and Roland-Story are at the top with three league wins apiece.
The boys are tied for third with a conference record of 2-2 (4-5 overall). They share that spot with South Hamilton. Those ahead of the Mustangs are Nevada and Roland-Story with three wins each.
The Mustangs will be back in action January 4th at home against Earlham for a boys only tilt. The girls return to play January 8th for a home double header against South Hamilton and can be heard on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com.
