The Trojans will begin 2021 with a busy first week with three doubleheaders in one week with two of them West Central Conference Matchups.

 

Their first doubleheader will be January 5th as they travel to Woodward-Granger, whom the boys played once and beat earlier this winter. The girls will have their first matchup with the Hawks during the first half of the doubleheader.

 

The second doubleheader will be just three days later as Conference powerhouse Van Meter comes to town. Van Meter’s boys’ team currently ranks #7 in Class 2A, with a 4-1 overall record and a 3-1 conference record.

 

The final doubleheader of the week will be a matinee non-conference home matchup against Albia. Both Albia teams, like Pleasantville, currently have three wins on the season.

 

The doubleheader at Woodward-Granger will be broadcast on kniakrls.com on the KRLS3 stream with the girls’ game tipping off at 6:00 PM.
