During the time of the winter solstice, Warren County Health Services is urging residents to take care of their mental health, as this time can be hard for those with mental illnesses. To help maintain positivity in mental health, Warren County Health Services suggests:

-Finding things to be grateful for
-Taking a break from watching/reading/listening to news stories on the pandemic
-Taking care of your body with deep breaths, meditation, eating healthy, drinking water, exercise, plenty of sleep, and getting outside if weather cooperates
-Take time to unwind and to enjoyable activities

If you need additional help during this time, Your Life Iowa is a 24/7 resource. You can reach them by calling (855) 581-8111 or by texting (855) 895-8398.
