Calendar year 2020 was certainly a year to remember for Norwalk Warrior fans. The school celebrated state championships in boys basketball and baseball, and placed eight wrestlers in the state tournament. This past fall, KNIA/KRLS began its inaugural season covering the Warriors, where more exciting moments took place. The Warriors only managed two wins on the football field, but the postseason opener produced what ended up being the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Play of the Year, a game-winning 2-point conversion.

Now that the winter sports season is underway, the wrestling team is off to a dominant start, while the girls and boys basketball teams carried a lot of momentum into winter break. Hear a full Norwalk Athletics 2020 Year in Review on tonight’s Radio Sports Page on KNIA/KRLS.
