The Norwalk boys basketball team sits at 4-2 overall after the December slate of games, which is exactly where they were last year. Through six games, Cole Tunender leads the way in scoring with 12.3 points per game, the only player in double figures. Senior Joe Brown leads the way with 5.5 rebounds per game, while senior Grant Larson is the assist leader with 3.3 points per game. Head Coach Chris Larson says that he’s got several players that excel in different areas, and hopes that the break allowed the Warriors to focus on themselves rather than a specific opponent.

Norwalk has three games in the first week of January. The Warriors host Van Meter Monday, travel to Newton Tuesday, and host Grinnell Friday. Hear Monday’s doubleheader on 94.3 KNIA.
