The PCM girls basketball team finished with a 1-10 record in the first half of the season, but that’s not going to hinder the vibe around the team.

The Mustangs have fared better than that record as their 10 losses include a one point defeat, falling in overtime, and some bad luck.

Head Coach Jeff Lindsay says it’s been hard to swallow the slow start, but he feels like the second half should be better.

“When you get off to a rough start like that, it can be tough on everybody. The ones I feel for are the young ladies who are out there busting it every night. I will say that we are seeing improvement, and in the second half of the season we hope to see better things.”

The Mustangs return to action Friday at home against South Hamilton and can be heard on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com starting at 5:45.
