The Twin Cedars boys basketball team sits at 3-4 this season and have a chance to get back to over .500 this week.

While they’ve played fewer games than most teams up to this point, maybe some rest will serve the Sabers well, according to Head Coach Blake McWilliams.

“I think my guys enjoyed having a little bit of time off. A lot of them have been playing a lot of minutes in games, so probably good to give them some time off and let their bodies heal back up before we start the second half of the season.”

The Sabers will return to action at Lamoni on Tuesday and then at winless Tri-County on Thursday. Winning both games will give the boys a winning record.
