pleasantville-3

The Pleasantville Trojans basketball teams each finished with three wins in the first half of the season, and now they’ll try to make it four tonight as they hit the road for a date with the Hawks of Woodward-Granger.

The squads will be looking to improve upon some of the flaws they experienced during the first handful of games. The Pleasantville girls have had trouble shooting all season long and improving on that aspect will help out in the West Central Conference standings, where they sit right in the middle. For the Trojans’ boys, Head Coach Tom Wilkins says they just need to get off to better starts and not play from behind so much.

“We have to start better. That’s one thing I’ve looked at over break. We have not started any of our five games very well. I think we’ve trailed in four or all five of our games at halftime. So I guess in the positive respect, we can come back and execute and get the win.”
