It was both the Pella boys and girls who came out on top when the Tulip City bowling teams clashed on Saturday.

The Little and Lady Dutch swept Pella Christian, with the boys winning 2131-1902 and the girls 1921-1534 at Dutch 200 Bowl and Grill.

Pella’s boys were paced by a 309 two-game score from Braden Rowe and 299 from Nate Grandia; the Eagles were led by a 255 from Dylan Eekhoff and 252 from Austin Moorman.

The Lady Dutch were led by a 297 from Anna DeNooy and 281 from Sierra Vander Weert; Pella Christian’s Alexa Klaasen was tops at 221, followed by Alayna Van Kooten’s 219.

Pella next heads to Oskaloosa to take on Knoxville on Saturday, while Pella Christian returns to action at home on the same day against Sigourney.
