Iowa Senator Joni Ernst visited Indianola Monday, her first stop in her annual 99-county tour of Iowa. Senator Ernst took a tour of local company IdRamp, a local company focused on Digital Identity and privacy. Senator Ernst tells KNIA News as part of her duties with the Senate Judiciary Committee, she felt it was important to visit a local technology company with local implications, and get answers and information from a company that isn’t a conglomerate.

“There is a way that we can house information or have that accessible without housing it at a large tech company like Google or so forth. To have that fragmented was one of the key words. Fragmented, fractured, instead of all centrally located. It also protects people’s privacy.”
