The Marion County Democrats will hold a day of service Monday. Members of the party will deliver thank-you cards and goodie bags to employees of Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, Pella Regional Health Center, and various long-term care facilities. Ann Fields with the group tells KNIA/KRLS News that this is to show gratitude for the efforts of care providers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers have spent the last two weeks preparing the gifts.

They’ll begin at 10:00 a.m. at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, and will spend much of the day traveling around Knoxville, Pleasantville and Pella making these deliveries.
