Senator Ken Rozenboom was sworn in on Monday to start his third term in the Iowa Senate, representing Senate District 40, and Representative Dustin Hite has begun his 2nd term in Iowa House District 79.
“I am thankful to have the opportunity to be sworn in to serve in the Iowa Senate for my third term,” said Senator Rozenboom. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on your behalf.”
Senator Rozenboom is the chair of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee, and also serves on the Agriculture, Appropriations, Education, Natural Resources and Environment, and Transportation committees.
Hite has been appointed to a new role as chair of the House Education Committee. This committee generally deals with education policy within Iowa—from preschool to college and beyond.
Hit will also serve on the Judiciary, Ways and Means, and the brand-new Information Technology Committees.
