The Pella City Council will consider a resolution setting a public hearing in February to approve bids for a unique playground project. On March 2nd, council will review proposals to construct an all-inclusive Wonder Spelen playground at Kiwanis Park. Snyder & Associates estimate the total cost will be $1.13 million, with the City of Pella providing $320,000 for the project and Wonder Spelen fundraising the rest. This week’s Pella City Council meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
