Emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash near the intersection of State Highway 5 and Marion County Highway T-17 near Bussey shortly after 8:00 Wednesday morning. A northbound and southbound vehicle collided head-on just east of the intersection on a curve. Two people were transported via ambulance for medical care. Traffic was diverted while crews were on scene.

Responding agencies included the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Bussey Fire & Rescue, Pella Ambulance, and Indiana Township Rural Fire Department. The Iowa State Patrol is conducting a crash investigation. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for updates.
