pleasantville-3

Pleasantville’s boys’ basketball team will look to get back in the win column as they travel to Clarke for a non-conference showdown with the Indians Monday.

The Trojans have hit a rough stretch, losing seven of their last eight games, including three last week to Interstate-35, Earlham, and Des Moines Christian. The Trojans have struggled to finish games, losing three of their seven by single digits. Coach Tom Wilkins tells KNIA Sports that his team needs to execute just a little more to string wins together.

“We just got to be able to execute. Every time I come out I tell the guys we talk about effort, enthusiasm, and execution. I think we got the effort, we got the enthusiasm, we just got to get the execution.”

Wilkins also states that his team is improving as the year goes on, even if it doesn’t look like it on paper.

The game is scheduled to tip-off Monday at 7:00 PM.
