The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. They decided to remain on Tier 2 of the district facilities usage plan for outside groups, which allows facilities to be used by groups of 25 people or fewer. This measure will be discussed at every meeting through the end of the pandemic.

They approved an E-rate application proposal and a bid from Oxen Technologies to install firewall switches on the district’s network, as well as a quote from Apple to purchase 320 Macbooks for all staff and four mobile laptop carts for student use.

The next Knoxville School Board meeting will be February 8th at 5:30 p.m.
