According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has now had 4,603 cases of COVID-19 to affect the area since the beginning of the pandemic, a growth of 111 cases since the January 21st update. Active cases are slightly rising in the county over the course of January, up to 911 current cases, 43 more since the latest update.
The Iowa Department of Public health shows two Long Term Care Outbreaks in Warren County, and shows one additional death since the latest update, now with 39 deaths associated with the virus, 37 with COVID-19 as an underlying cause and two with COVID-19 as a contributing factor. As of Monday, Warren County has a positive test rate of 15.4%.
