After their Bluegrass Conference tournament games were delayed Monday due to the weather, both Twin Cedars basketball teams resumed play Wednesday. The Sabers girls lost to Moravia 38-26 and the boys defeated Orient-Macksburg 55-36.
The Sabers girls were in their first game of the tournament and lost their opener to the Mohawks, who bested Twin Cedars last month in their first meeting. Rylee Dunkin led the team in points with 10 and rebounds with 11 for a double-double.
The Sabers boys had a trio reach double figures: Devin Arkema had 17, Dallas Clark had 15, and Kade Dunkin had 13.
Both squads will play again Thursday. The Sabers girls will face Diagonal at Mormon Trail starting at 6:00 and the boys will host Moulton-Udell at 7:30.
