The most recent Knoxville snow ordinance was in effect for this week’s winter storm. For the third straight time this winter, no vehicles had to be towed, but 14 citations were issued for vehicles illegally parked on city streets. Code enforcement officers hung courtesy door hangers on 35 properties. Arlene Worrall with the Knoxville Police Department tells KNIA/KRLS News that residents will have 24 hours to clear their sidewalks after these courtesies are issued, and that action will be taken if that is not done.
