According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has now had 4,676 cases of COVID-19 to affect the area since the beginning of the pandemic, a growth of 184 cases since the January 22nd update. Active cases are only slightly up since the latest update, with a total of 869 cases in the county.
The Iowa Department of Public health shows two Long Term Care Outbreaks in Warren County, and shows 41 deaths associated with the virus, three additional deaths since the latest update, 39 with COVID-19 as an underlying cause and two with COVID-19 as a contributing factor. As of Thursday, Warren County has a positive test rate of 13.8%.
