A traveling exhibit called “Amazing Iowa Women” is on display at the Knoxville Public Library. This display features 28 banners of women with Iowa connections that made some sort of contribution to the state or nation. Each portrait was created by a female artist from Iowa.

Viewers can scan a QR code at the exhibit to learn more about each person. Activity sheets are also available. This exhibit will remain at the library through the end of March, which will coincide with Women’s History Month and the 100th anniversary of the Iowa flag, which was designed by Dixie Gebhardt of Knoxville.
