The Knoxville and Pella Christian bowling teams split in Pella Saturday afternoon. The Panthers edged out the Eagles by nine pins total, 2033-2024, while the P.C. girls won 1685-1580 over Knoxville.
In the boys match, Pella Christian led most of the way, but fell behind in the final baker game.
Dylan Eekhoff led the way for the Eagles by posting a two game score of 327, followed by William Spencer at 310 and Austin Moorman with a score of 296. Donovan Binns had the high mark for Knoxville at 275, followed by 270 from Jaxson Willis and 260 from Robert Sloan.
The Eagles girls led wire to wire against the Panthers. Pella Christian was paced again by Ella VanderHart with a two game score of 283, followed by Alayna VanKooten at 230 and Abi Maldonado at 205. Knoxville was led by a 238 from Jasmine Holbrook, followed by Paige Ludington at 221.
Pella Christian wraps up the regular season by bowling at Newton Saturday, while the Panthers will head to Val Lanes in West Des Moines to take on Norwalk that morning.
