Pella Christian High School celebrated homecoming last week, and their king and queen were chosen Friday afternoon.
Carson Breon and Adrienne Vander Molen were selected by their peers to represent the Eagles for the 2021 celebration. Both students were among the thousands in Iowa who lost the chance to participate in spring activities and were kept out of the classroom after spring break when COVID-19 was first spreading in Iowa. Breon and Vander Molen both look forward to continuing to participate until graduation; Breon will run track this spring and Vander Molen aims to play tennis.
Carson received his fourth consecutive All-State Music honor this fall, was the lead in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat musical, and is trying to qualify for state swimming with Oskaloosa this winter, while Vander Molen is currently the manager of the Eagles’ girls basketball team.
